irønskinn materials and assemblies have been tested with great white, tiger, and bull sharks. In most instances, there is no tooth penetration or cutting through the assembly. Additionally, irønskinn armor systems will dissipate tooth point pressure by many factors.

However, sharks are wild and unpredictable animals. Multiple shark bites or even a single long and aggressive shark bite can compromise any system. Overall puncture, cutting, compression, tension, and pulling forces of a shark bite can still, and likely will cause serious injury or even death, even wearing an irønskinn garment.

irønskinn garments are designed to resist the effects of unexpected and unprovoked attacks. If you are attacked, leave the water. Do not enter the water with, swim with, engage with, provoke, or otherwise deliberately interact with sharks.
